Who we are
Flyball Hub (“we”, “us”) provides a web app for managing flyball teams **and a public marketing website (flyballhub.com) to promote the service**.

- Account data: name, email, team, role (app only).
- Team & dog data: dog names, photos, owners, notes you add (app only).
- Usage data: pages viewed, device/browser, approximate location (from IP), error logs (across app and website).
- Cookies: essential cookies for login/session; optional cookies for analytics and ads (on both app and website).
Why we collect it
- Provide and secure the service (authentication, roles, permissions).
- Improve the app and website (diagnostics, performance).
- Communicate with you (support, service updates).
- On the marketing website and Free plan app: Show limited, below-the-fold ads via Google AdSense. Ads may be personalised if you consent.

Analytics & ads
We use Google services:
- Google Analytics (with IP anonymisation) to understand usage **across the app and website**.
- Google AdSense to display ads on the marketing website and in Free plans of the app. **Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our website and app. Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to our users based on their visit to our sites and other sites on the Internet. Data sharing
We don’t sell personal data. We use trusted processors (hosting, email, analytics, payments **, and ad networks like Google AdSense**) under DPAs and standard contractual clauses where applicable. **We may share anonymised usage data with ad partners to improve targeting, but only with consent.**
Data retention
- Account/team data: kept while you have an account.
- Logs/analytics: typically 12–24 months.
- Ad-related cookies: As per vendor policies (e.g., Google: up to 18 months).

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls and regular reviews. No system is 100% secure.
